LDISD Elementary Schools competed in UIL academic contests on January 12-13.  Corinth Elementary had winners in every grade!  See the results below:

2nd grade:  Joshua Miles-1st in chess, Malik Unuigbey-5th in chess, Emma Hoffman-6th in chess, Presley Sloan-2nd in storytelling, Grace Hargis-3rd in storytelling

3rd grade:  Paitynn Hood-1st in ready writing, Anna Do-1st in spelling (PERFECT SCORE), Laila Stinsen -6th in spelling, Jack Arbogast-1st in chess, Lexi Turk-3rd in chess

4th grade:  Randi Luke – 1st in ready writing, Marisa Hughes 5th in ready writing, Leia Warren – 1st in spelling (PERFECT SCORE), Cade Gruber – 2nd in spelling, Jhykiya Cooley – 6th in spelling, Cara Ciecka – 6th in art, Brett Reeves – 2nd in chess
