New Eagle Scout at LDHS
LDISD congratulates Lake Dallas High School junior Eric Robinson for being awarded the Eagle Scout, the Boy Scouts of America's highest honor. Eric received the award at his Eagle Scout Court of Honor held Saturday, April 1, in Lake Dallas.
Robinson is a member of the Boy Scout Troop 424, Longhorn Council of the BSA. He has been involved in scouting since he was 2 because of an older brother in Scouts, but officially joined Cub Scouts in the first grade as a Tiger Cub. He still enjoys all that Scouting has to offer as a Venturing Scout. He has been highly active in his pack, troop, community and Order of Arrow (BSA's Honor Society) and continues to be active in the Venturing Crew. For his Eagle Project, Eric installed road barriers at the entrance of a local park to keep cars from driving on the grass.
Eric is active in marching and concert band at LDHS, and is currently enrolled in the 2 year dual credit Fire Academy program where he will graduate as a certified fire fighter/EMT ready for immediate service to his community.
