STEAM Carnival LD 2017

Corinth Elementary

Friday, February 10th

6:00-7:30 p.m.

Purpose: To showcase students’ projects in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.  Projects can be individual or group and must incorporate 2 or more of the STEAM components.

Entry is open to all 3rd-5th graders. To enter a project for the showcase, visit your school’s website and click on the link.

Project Guidelines:

  • Showcase projects should reflect work integrating two or more areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and/or Math.

  • Projects can be showcased by individuals, groups, or classes.

  • Projects may represent work done in class, after-school programs, or personal interests outside of school.

  • Projects should be interactive and hands-on for participants.

  • Each project will be assigned a basic 6’ table station.  Additional space available upon request.

  • Access to electricity is limited, but available upon request.

  • Student presenters are expected to be independent and interact with participants appropriately.

  • Each student is responsible for his/her own transportation to and from the carnival.  

  • Each project must be removed at the conclusion of the carnival.
